Alright folks, let's dive into your Coastal Waters Forecast for Florida brought to you by the National Weather Service in Miami.

So, over the weekend and into next week, we're looking at a moderate to fresh northerly breeze sticking around as high pressure builds in after a cold front. This means cautionary to hazardous conditions with elevated seas for the Atlantic waters.

For today, expect northeast winds ranging from 15 to 20 miles per hour bringing seas of 5 to 7 feet, occasionally reaching up to 9 feet. Intracoastal waters can get pretty choppy in exposed areas with a chance of showers.

Tonight, those winds will ease up a bit to 10 to 15 miles per hour, but the seas will hang around 5 to 7 feet, occasionally reaching 9 feet. Intracoastal waters will still have a moderate chop and yes, a chance of showers is still on the table.

As we move into Sunday, northeast winds at 10 to 15 miles per hour will persist, with seas at 3 to 5 feet, possibly peaking at 6 feet. The moderate chop in the intracoastal waters will continue with, you guessed it, a chance of showers.

On Monday and Tuesday, expect north winds at 15 to 20 miles per hour with seas varying from 4 to 6 feet, possibly making a splash up to 8 feet. Keep an eye out for a moderate chop on the intracoastal waters during these days.

And, wrapping up with Tuesday night and Wednesday, northeast winds at 15 to 20 miles per hour will be blowing, causing seas of 3 to 5 feet, occasionally reaching 6 feet. Intracoastal waters will be choppy in exposed areas.

For those in the Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef area, Small Craft should exercise caution, especially for today and tonight. The winds might get gusty at times with bumpier waters.

Remember, safety first when you're out there on the water, folks. And for more detailed info, check out the link in our show notes.
