Hey there folks, welcome to your favorite boating and beach buddy, here with your coastal waters forecast for Florida. Let's dive right into it!

For our friends cruising along the Atlantic waters from Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef, and out to 60 nautical miles, expect some choppy seas and fresh to strong north-northwesterly breezes today. Gulf waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee will see moderate to fresh north-northwesterly winds. Hang tight, conditions will ease up over the weekend.

Now, for those closer in, a Small Craft Advisory is in effect through late tonight from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, with northwest winds at 15 to 20 knots bringing seas of 5 to 8 feet. Things should calm down as we head into Saturday and Sunday.

Looking ahead to Lake Okeechobee, expect some light chop with northwest winds today, shifting to northerly breezes through the weekend.

And for all you Biscayne Bay fans, a moderate chop today with northwest winds at 10 to 15 knots. Things will settle down to a light chop by the weekend.

Remember, safety first out there, especially with those strong winds. For more detailed information, check out the link in the show notes.
