Hey there, folks! Let's dive into what Mother Nature has in store for the coastal waters of Florida.

Today and tomorrow, we're looking at a strong east northeasterly breeze keeping things interesting out there. So, if you're planning a boat ride, hold onto your hats because gusty winds of up to 30 knots are on the menu. The Gulf Stream will be serving up some waves ranging from 7 to 10 feet - not exactly a smooth sailing day!

For those near Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach and beyond, a Small Craft Advisory is in effect through Thursday evening. E winds of 20 to 25 knots with occasional gusts up to 30 knots will create seas of 6 to 9 feet, peaking occasionally at 11 feet. Rough waters ahead, so cautious sailing is a must.

As we move towards the weekend, conditions may start to ease up slightly with winds diminishing to 15 to 20 knots and seas gradually subsiding. However, keep an eye out as hazardous marine conditions could linger through to the upcoming weekend, especially for the Atlantic waters.

Now, if you're eyeing Lake Okeechobee or planning a jaunt on Biscayne Bay, a word of caution - Small Craft Advisory in effect through Thursday evening. E winds of 15 to 25 knots will be keeping things choppy, with a chance of showers and even thunderstorms in the mix.
