Hey there, folks! It's time for your Florida coastal waters forecast, straight out of Miami. Let's dive right in for all you boaters and beach lovers out there.

For the Atlantic and Gulf waters, we've got a moderate to fresh breeze coming your way this week, thanks to high pressure parked over the Southeast US. Expect some cautionary criteria around the Atlantic waters, so keep an eye out, especially going into the weekend and early next week.

No worries about Gulf Stream hazards at the moment. The Gulf Stream is hanging out about 1 to 11 nautical miles off various points along the coast. Info courtesy of the Naval Oceanographic Office.

Now, let's break it down by regions:

For Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach out to 60 nautical miles, the forecast looks like this:

Today, expect northeast winds 5 to 10 knots, seas 2 to 4 feet occasionally reaching 5 feet. Intracoastal waters will be a light chop. There's a slight chance of showers too.

Tonight, the winds pick up a bit to 10 to 15 knots, with seas around 2 to 3 feet. Intracoastal waters will have a moderate chop.

Tomorrow, Friday, more of the same with northeast winds at 10 to 15 knots and seas around 2 to 4 feet. Again, watch out for a moderate chop in the intracoastal waters.

Overall, through the weekend into early next week, expect northeast winds 10 to 20 knots, seas 2 to 6 feet, and a moderate chop in the intracoastal waters.
