Hey there, folks! Time for a status update on what Mother Nature has in store for the beautiful Sunshine State with the Coastal Waters Forecast for Florida, provided by the National Weather Service in Miami.

So, get this - a frontal boundary is about to make its way into the Florida Straits and then just decide to chill out there over the weekend. What does that mean for us? Well, brace yourselves for some breezy to downright windy north-northeast winds out on the water. Basically, hold onto your hats, folks!

For all you sailors out there, listen up! We're talking about a Small Craft Advisory in effect through Saturday evening. And you know what that means - it's time to batten down the hatches and ride those waves like the pros you are.

Now, as for specifics, expect those winds to be running around 20 to 25 knots with gusts reaching up to 30 knots. Seas are probably going to be around 7 to 10 feet, occasionally reaching up to 13 feet. Yeah, you heard me right - that's some serious water action.
