Hey there, Florida water enthusiasts! Time for your Coastal Waters Forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Miami.

So, looks like we've got a weak surface trough chillin' over the Atlantic today, bringing in some gentle to moderate Northeasterly breezes across the waters. As we roll into tomorrow, get ready for some winds shifting to the north-northwest as a cold front swings by.

Now, have no fear, Gulf Stream Hazards are a big fat zero today. So you're good to set sail without a worry.

For those of you kickin' it from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, expect North winds around 10 knots today. Seas at 2 to 3 feet - just a heads up, a slight chance of showers in the morning might try to rain on your parade.

Now, the next few days are shaping up with North and Northeast winds, but then hold onto your hats for Wednesday night and Thursday, 'cause things are about to get choppy with gusts reaching up to 30 knots.

And for all you Lake Okeechobee lovers out there, gentle North winds today, waters will be smooth tonight, but by Wednesday and Thursday, those winds are kickin' up some chop.

And for Biscayne Bay buddies, plan for some breezy days ahead with gusts up to 30 knots possible by Thursday.

And remember folks, for more detailed info, check out the link in our show notes. Stay safe out there on the water, and as always, thank you for listening and make sure to subscribe to never miss an update.
