For our friends out on the waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, expect those easterly winds today around 10 knots with seas ranging from 2 to 4 feet. A slight chance of showers in the morning, followed by a chance of showers and maybe a rumble of thunder in the afternoon. Tonight, those winds ramp up a bit to 10 to 15 knots with gusts potentially hitting 20 knots. Then on Sunday, similar conditions persist with a chance of showers lingering.
Now, moving over to the Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach area, enjoy those east winds at 10 to 15 knots today and seas hovering around 2 feet. Showers and thunderstorms are also on the menu, so keep an eye out for those. Tonight, winds calm down a bit before picking up once again on Sunday, bringing more chances of showers and thunderstorms, making for a wet end to the weekend.
And for all you Lake Okeechobee enthusiasts out there, expect some easterly winds at 5 to 10 knots today, with a chance of showers and maybe even a distant rumble of thunder in the afternoon. Tomorrow, those conditions stick around, so keep your rain gear handy.
