Hey there, folks! Let's dive into your coastal weather report for Florida, covering both the Atlantic and Gulf coastal waters.

Today expect some gentle to moderate easterly winds, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms hanging around. Keep an eye out for potentially hazardous marine conditions towards the middle to the end of the week as a tropical disturbance shifts northward into the Gulf of Mexico.

For those of you hitting the waters closer to Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee, or even Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach, here's what's cooking:

Today looks like a mix of E winds at 5 to 10 knots, with seas around 2 to 3 feet. Just some light chop on the intracoastal waters. Showers and thunderstorms might pop up during the day.

Tonight, expect E winds ramping up to 10 to 15 knots, seas potentially reaching up to 4 feet, and a moderate chop on the intracoastal waters. Showers and storms might stick around into the evening.

As we move into Tuesday, those E winds will persist at 10 to 15 knots, seas lingering around 2 to 4 feet, and things might get a bit choppy in exposed areas.

Looking ahead, Wednesday through Friday could see some intense action with winds gusting up to 40 knots, and seas rising up to 13 feet in some areas. Showers and thunderstorms are likely, so keep your rain gear handy!

For those planning activities on Lake Okeechobee, you can expect some manageable conditions with light chop and chances of showers and storms later on.

And for folks around Biscayne Bay, today starts with light winds and chop, but things may pick up with easterly winds strengthening. By midweek through Friday, stronger southerly winds could bring rough conditions along with showers and thunderstorms.
