Alright folks, let's chat about what's happening out on the waters with your Coastal Waters Forecast for Florida, brought to you by the National Weather Service office in Miami.
Throughout the week, expect a gentle to moderate southeasterly breeze hanging around most of the local waters. You can anticipate scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms popping up daily, possibly bringing some locally higher winds and waves with them.
If you're planning on sailing near the Gulf Stream, watch out for seas potentially reaching up to 6 feet by late tonight into Thursday in the northern Atlantic waters. Keep an eye out for the west wall of the Gulf Stream, currently situated at various locations as of August 31, 2024.
