Hey there folks, time for your Florida coastal waters forecast! I'm here to make sure you're prepared for whatever Mother Nature throws your way.

Hope you're ready for some changes in the wind direction across the Atlantic and Gulf waters. We've got north-northeast breezes heading your way on the Atlantic side and north-northwest winds on the Gulf, thanks to a sneaky little surface boundary sliding south across the state.

Today's seas will be keeping things nice and calm below 2 feet, but brace yourselves for potential waves building up to 3-5 feet along the Atlantic on Friday post-frontal passage. Oh, and don't forget your umbrella as isolated to scattered storms might pop up. Stay extra cautious when out and about due to possible locally elevated seas and winds near those storms.

If you're planning a trip along the Gulf Stream, no hazards to worry about there.

For the latest on the Gulf Stream's location and all things nautical, a big shoutout to the Naval Oceanographic Office for the assist.

Intracoastal waters and smooth seas await those cruising the waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach out 20 nautical miles. Watch out for a chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight, but things should settle down a bit for your weekend plans.

Thank you for listening and make sure to subscribe to never miss an update.
