Alright, folks! Time for your daily dose of the coastal waters forecast here in wonderful Florida. This is your go-to guide for what's happening out on the seas.

Today, you can expect gentle south-southeasterly winds dominating our waters, with a possibility of a shift to the west by the afternoon over the Gulf coast. We're talking scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms swirling about, so keep an eye out for those locally enhanced winds and waves. By mid-week, those winds will veer towards the east as our good ol' friend Atlantic high pressure strolls in.

Now, for all you ocean enthusiasts, the Gulf Stream is behaving itself - no hazards to report there. Just keep an eye out for the approximate locations mentioned earlier.

For those sailing from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, brace yourself for some S to SE winds at around 5 to 10 knots today. Seas will be a calming 2 feet or less, with a light chop in the Intracoastal waters. Don't be surprised if you encounter some showers and a few thunderstorms.

And for the night owls, expect a repeat performance with S to SE winds, similar sea conditions, and just a slight chance of rain. Wednesday appears to have SE winds at 5 to 10 knots and seas maintaining at 2 feet or less.
