Hey there, folks! Time for your regular weather update for the lovely state of Florida. Let's dive right into what Mother Nature has in store for our coastal waters.

For those of you hanging out near Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, expect some calm conditions today. Gentle winds coming in from the east-northeast at 5 to 10 knots, with seas at 2 feet or less. There might be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, so keep an eye out for those.

As we head into tonight, winds will shift to the southwest and then west after midnight. Seas staying relatively calm at 1 to 2 feet. So, if you're planning an evening boat ride, it looks like smooth sailing ahead.

Moving into Saturday, winds will be shifting to the north then east-southeast in the afternoon. Seas maintaining at 1 to 2 feet. A chance of morning showers and thunderstorms might stick around into the afternoon.

For everyone cruising from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef, winds are coming in from the east-northeast at 5 to 10 knots today along the coast. While in the Gulf Stream, you can expect east-southeast winds at 5 knots. Seas remaining less than 2 feet.

Tonight, winds transitioning to west-southwest at 5 knots, with calm seas continuing. A slight chance of showers and storms lingering around, so don't forget your umbrella!

As we roll into the weekend, winds will vary a bit, but the seas will stay less than 2 feet. A chance of showers and thunderstorms brewing in the afternoons, so plan accordingly.

Over in Lake Okeechobee, you'll experience steady southeast winds at 5 knots, becoming northeasterly in the afternoon. Smooth sailing on the lake waters today, but keep an eye out for showers and thunderstorms popping up.

And for Biscayne Bay enthusiasts, east winds at 5 knots are expected, shifting to southeast in the afternoon. Smooth bay waters today with a chance of showers and storms in the afternoon.
