Hey there, folks! Time to break down the forecast especially tailored for our friends in Florida who like to venture out on the water.

First up, if you're hanging out in the Atlantic coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef or in the Gulf from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee, you can expect some moderate to fresh easterly winds for the next few days. Don't be surprised if scattered showers and thunderstorms pop up now and then - it's just Florida being Florida.

Now, as for the conditions on the water - keep an eye out for those seas building to 5 to 7 feet tonight and Wednesday along the Gulf Stream. So, grab your sea legs and hold on tight!

For those cruising along the coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach or from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef, guess what? A small craft advisory is in effect through Wednesday morning. So, stay alert with those east winds at 15 to 20 knots stirring up some 3 to 6 feet seas.

And if you're around Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach area, there's another small craft advisory until noon today. East winds at 10 to 15 knots near shore and 15 to 20 knots offshore. Seize the day carefully!

And for all our lake lovers out there at Lake Okeechobee, exercise some caution with those east to northeast winds at 10 to 15 knots today, bringing a moderate chop and some showers and thunderstorms in the mix.

Whether you're on the coast or on the lake, we've got you covered with the weather info you need. Remember, safety first, adventure second.
