Alright, folks! Let's dive into your coastal waters forecast for Florida! Time to find out what Mother Nature has in store for us.

For the Atlantic coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef, and the Gulf coastal waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee, including Biscayne Bay and Lake Okeechobee, here’s the scoop:

Today, expect moderate to fresh southeasterly winds along the Atlantic waters, shifting to south to southwesterly by the end of the week. Over in the Gulf waters, it’s a mix of southerly to southeasterly winds, turning southwest in the afternoons with a chance of showers and thunderstorms ramping up over the weekend as a front swings by.

And here's a heads-up for small craft - exercise caution out there!

Along the coast, you're looking at winds around 20 to 25 miles per hour, with seas ranging from 2 to 4 feet, occasionally hitting 5 feet. Intracoastal waters will be a moderate chop.

Friday brings some gusts up to 25 miles per hour and a chance of showers, with the weekend seeing a shift to west to southwest winds and a mix of showers and thunderstorms.
