Hey there, Florida water lovers! It's time for your coastal waters forecast fun with me, your sunny weather pal.

So, let's dive into what the waves are whispering to us today. In the Atlantic waters from Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef, we're looking at gentle to moderate east southeasterly winds, while on the Gulf side from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee, expect some southwesterly breezes in the afternoons.

For all you sailors and sea enthusiasts out there, the Gulf Stream is behaving itself nicely with no hazards in sight, just doing its thing a few miles from the coast.

Now, for those cruising the Florida coast from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, expect southeast winds around 10 to 15 miles per hour with seas around 2 feet. It's a smooth sailing day ahead with a moderate chop in the Intracoastal waters.

Moving along, into the night, those winds will continue, giving us a light chop on the Intracoastal waters. Tomorrow, get ready for a bit more oomph with winds picking up to 15 to 20 miles per hour, creating small waves and a moderate chop.

And those late-night sailors, Thursday's calling your name with stronger southeasterly winds, reaching 20 to 25 miles per hour. The seas may dance a bit more, but nothing our seasoned boaters can't handle!

As the week progresses, we'll have some chances of showers and thunderstorms popping up, so keep an eye to the sky while you're out on the water.

And for our friends on Lake Okeechobee, get ready for some light chop and a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms as the day unfolds.

For all the nautical details, check out the full forecast via the link in our show notes.

Thank you for listening and make sure to subscribe to never miss an update. Happy sailing, everyone!
