Good evening, Florida mariners! This is your go-to gal, coming at you with the latest coastal waters forecast for our beautiful Sunshine State!

We've got some important updates for your Florida boating plans from Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef out to 60 nautical miles and the waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee – so listen up!

Gale force winds and hazardous seas are making their presence known as we head into the weekend. Expect increasing shower and thunderstorm activity tonight through Saturday. Gulf Stream conditions are getting a bit rocky with seas potentially reaching 6 to 9 feet and gusty winds on the menu. Stay safe out there, folks!

For all the small craft enthusiasts out there, a Small Craft Advisory is in effect from this evening through Saturday evening, with some bumpy rides ahead. So, hold on tight, prepare for gusts, and maybe postpone those relaxing boat rides for just a bit.

Tomorrow, things are really kicking up a notch with strong SE winds and gusts near 30 miles per hour along the coast. The seas will be building, so be ready for rough waters. Friday night into Saturday morning won't be any smoother with S winds picking up and potential seas up to 11 feet. Showers and thunderstorms are likely to make an appearance.

Heading into Saturday, expect a mix of winds along the coast and in the Gulf Stream, keeping the seas at a bumpy 6 to 9 feet. Showers and thunderstorms are still in the forecast, so don't forget your rain gear!

As we wrap up the weekend, the winds will shift towards the west, calming things down a bit with diminishing seas on the horizon. However, showers will still be around.
