Alrighty, folks! Let's break down what's brewing out there in the waters off East Central Florida. This is your coastal waters update brought to you by the National Weather Service in Melbourne.

We've got some serious boating conditions coming your way, so hold onto your hats. As high pressure takes charge, expect onshore flow to amp up, bringing in a long-period swell. Scattered showers will be making their way onshore, with Saturday being the peak rainy day. Keep those rain boots handy!

For those braving the Gulf Stream, brace yourselves for some North-northeast winds hitting 20 to 25 knots with gusts reaching up to 30 knots. Seas are climbing to 7 to 10 feet, so it's going to be a bit rolly out there.

Now, for the more detailed outlook closer to the coast:

- If you're around Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, small craft should exercise caution till early afternoon today. Then, a Small Craft Advisory kicks in from this afternoon through late Sunday night. Northeast winds ranging from 15 to 20 knots.

- Moving south to Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet, a similar story with a Small Craft Advisory in effect through late Sunday night. East winds clocking in at 20 to 25 knots.

- And if you're sailing from Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet, guess what? Another Small Craft Advisory lurking around till late Sunday night. Northeast winds around 20 knots, with seas reaching up to 7 to 8 feet.

Keep an eye out for those conditions and stay safe out there, sea lovers. Remember, all of this info can be found in more detail in our show notes.

Thank you for listening and make sure to subscribe to never miss an update.
