Hey there folks, welcome to your Coastal Waters Forecast for East Central Florida brought to you by the National Weather Service in Melbourne. Let's dive right in:

For the boaters out there between Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet, things are going to get a bit tricky this week. High pressure up north and some low-pressure areas down south will bring in moderate to fresh onshore winds. So, hold on tight!

Now, if you're out in the Gulf Stream, expect some east winds between 15 to 25 miles per hour and seas building up to 8 to 10 feet. Stay safe out there!

And for those closer in, from Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, we've got a Small Craft Advisory in effect until Wednesday evening. Today, east winds between 15 to 20 miles per hour with seas ranging from 6 to 7 feet. Bit of a bumpy ride with a chance of showers later on.

Looking ahead, more east winds, higher seas, and a mix of showers and a chance of thunderstorms from Tuesday through Thursday. So, plan accordingly and maybe bring an extra towel!

Remember, always keep an eye out for those changing winds and waves, especially near thunderstorms. And for more detailed info, check out the link in our show notes.

Thank you for listening and make sure to subscribe to never miss an update. Stay safe out there on the water!
