Hey there East Central Florida, it's time for your coastal waters forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Melbourne. Let's dive right in!

For the area from Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out 60 nautical miles, we're looking at some changes on the horizon. Persistent high pressure up north and a low pressure system down south mean we're in for moderate to fresh onshore winds with showers popping up and becoming more widespread throughout the week.

If you're hitting the waters, be cautious as the Gulf Stream will have east winds at 15 to 20 knots and seas reaching 5 to 7 feet. Keep an eye out!

Closer to home, for Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line within 20 nautical miles, there's a Small Craft Advisory from this evening through Monday evening. Today, expect east winds increasing to 15 to 20 knots and seas between 4 to 5 feet, occasionally up to 6 feet.

As we move along to Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet within 20 nautical miles, the scenario is pretty similar. East winds picking up to 15 to 20 knots today with seas at 4 to 6 feet, occasionally up to 8 feet. It's gonna be choppy out there, folks!

And for those venturing further out in the 20 to 60 nautical mile range, east winds at 15 to 20 knots with seas around 5 to 7 feet, occasionally reaching up to 9 feet. Stay safe and watch out for a slight chance of showers.
