Hey there, East Central Florida! Time for a bit of sunshine mixed with a touch of rain in our coastal waters forecast. Here's the scoop for Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out to 60 nautical miles.

Today, we've got a high pressure system over the northern Gulf coast fizzling out. But not to worry, a new high pressure zone is sauntering in, so expect those north to northeast breezes to calm down and swing to the east by Friday. A sprinkle might still surprise you today, but by tonight, it's mostly dry, folks!

Our Gulf Stream? Well, it's been loitering about 6 feet early today, so watch out for that. And for the fisher folk, here's where it's hanging out: 45 nautical miles east of Ponce Inlet, 31 east of Port Canaveral, 30 east of Sebastian Inlet, 21 east of Fort Pierce Inlet, and 14 east of Saint Lucie Inlet.

Let’s talk specifics, starting closer to shore. For Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, within 20 nautical miles, picture this: Today, north winds shifting northeast later on, around 5 to 10 knots, with 3 to 4-foot seas. Tomorrow, more of the same, but with a light chop. Friday night, it’s smooth sailing! Saturday, a light chop again. Sunday, a light chop and smooth waters at night. Monday brings more winds, seas, and a slim chance of showers.

For those sailing the Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, in the 20-60 nm range, heed the caution early on! North winds at 5 to 10 knots, seas up to 6 feet. Same old, same old for the next few days, with Monday night and scattered showers throwing a little spice into the mix.

Small craft? Watch out! And always, stay safe out there, sailors. For more detailed updates and to chart your course wisely, check the link in our show notes.
