Alright, folks! Time to break down those coastal waters forecasts for East Central Florida. If you're planning to set sail or just hang out by the water, here's what you need to know.

Currently, a high-pressure system is parked over the eastern US, meaning we're in for some moderate to fresh east to northeast winds. Translation? Not the best boating weather, so be cautious out there!

For those venturing out near Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet, expect east to northeast winds hanging around 15 to 20 miles per hour with seas reaching 5 to 6 feet, occasionally getting up to 8 feet. Things will stay choppy on the intracoastal waters.

Now, for the night owls, tonight will bring more of the same, with winds around 20 miles per hour and seas ramping up to 6 to 7 feet, occasionally hitting 9 feet. Hold on tight on those 7-second waves!

As we head into the weekend, Saturday and Sunday will keep up with those northeast winds at 15 to 20 miles per hour and seas ranging from 6 to 7 feet, possibly peaking at 9 feet. Keep an eye out for a slight chance of showers on Sunday afternoon.

Remember, Small Craft Advisory is in effect from late this afternoon through Sunday evening, so stay safe out there!
