Hey there, folks! This is your friendly neighborhood weather reporter coming at you with the lowdown on the Coastal Waters Forecast for East Central Florida. So, buckle up and let's dive right in!
Today, we're looking at some mixed bag sea conditions out there. With north winds cruising at 5 to 10 knots, the seas will be dancing between 3 to 4 feet. Don't worry; it's just a light chop on the intracoastal waters.
Tonight, those north winds will do a little evening switcheroo to the west, staying light at around 5 knots. Seas will remain steady at 3 to 4 feet, and it's looking pretty smooth out there on the intracoastal waters.
As we move into the start of the week, expect some subtle changes. Monday brings us west winds at 5 to 10 knots, with seas calming down to 2 to 3 feet. Not bad for a Monday, right?
By Tuesday, it's all about the northwest winds, 5 to 10 knots velocity with 2-foot seas. Hang onto your hats, though, as things ramp up midweek with some choppy seas and stronger winds. Wednesday through Thursday, we're talking about up to 20 knots of northeast winds and seas clocking in between 5 to 7 feet.
Remember, winds and waves could kick up higher around thunderstorms, so keep an eye out for those. And if you're planning any maritime activities, be sure to exercise caution, especially from Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet.
