Hey there! Welcome to your East Central Florida Coastal Waters Forecast, brought to you by the National Weather Service in Melbourne. Let's dive right into what you can expect out on the waters from Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet.
Today, we're looking at some moderate East winds, ranging from 5 to 10 knots. Seas are around 3 feet with a light chop on the intracoastal waters. If you're planning a night trip, expect Southeast winds around 5 to 10 knots with similar sea conditions.
On Tuesday, we can expect those winds to pick up a bit, shifting to around 10 to 15 knots from the East in the afternoon. Seas are likely to bump up to around 3 to 4 feet, creating a moderate chop. Keep in mind that Wednesday into late week, things might get a bit bumpy as those Southeast winds begin to increase.
As for rainfall, we're looking at isolated to scattered showers and lightning storms throughout the week, with the highest coverage expected on Wednesday and Thursday. So, remember to pack that rain gear just in case!
