Alright, folks, grab your sunblock and your raincoat because we've got a mixed bag coming your way in the East Central Florida area!
Today we're looking at some moderate northeast winds, eventually shifting to easterly by Tuesday. So, boaters, be aware of deteriorating conditions offshore. You might encounter isolated to scattered showers and storms so keep those umbrellas handy.
Now, for our friends along the coastal waters from Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, expect northeast winds at about 10 to 15 miles per hour, with seas ranging from 3 to 5 feet. There's a chance of showers and thunderstorms, so keep an eye on the sky if you're planning outdoor activities!
Heading into Sunday, the winds stay fairly consistent, but there's a chance of thunderstorms and showers persisting into the afternoon. Monday sees those east winds picking up a bit, so make sure everything on your boat is securely fastened!
For those further out from Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet, similar conditions with the added possibility of slightly higher seas in the coming days. So, stay cautious out there and keep an ear out for any thunderstorm warnings!
And finally, from Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet, expect more of the same with the potential for increasing winds as we head into Monday.
Remember, always stay weather-aware and be prepared for changing conditions out on the water!
