Hey there, East Central Florida! Time for your coastal waters forecast along the beautiful Atlantic shoreline. Here's the scoop on what to expect out there.

So, we've got some moisture shuffling off to the northeast today, which means we're in for some scattered showers and storms throughout the week. Keep an eye out for that potential low pressure system forming northeast of our local waters, bringing in some swells that might make boating conditions less than ideal.

For Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line within 20 nautical miles, it's small craft caution time! North winds today at 5 to 10 knots, increasing to 10 to 15 later, with seas building to 4 to 6 feet, occasionally reaching 8 feet. There's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the mix.

For the next few days, expect varying wind directions with some chances of storms, so stay weather aware as you plan your outings on the water.
