Good day, folks! It's your friendly neighborhood weather enthusiast here with all the details for the coastal waters forecast along East Central Florida. Let's dive right in!

Synopsis: Tropical Storm Debby is making its way towards the Carolinas, which will keep high pressure lingering south of our local Atlantic waters. Expect those fresh to locally strong southwest winds to ease up later today and especially by the end of the week. High pressure will inch closer to South Florida by this weekend. And hey, scattered offshore-moving storms are on the agenda today, complete with occasional lightning shows and some fleetingly enhanced wind gusts.

Gulf Stream Hazards: Southwest winds revving up to 20 to 25 knots, reaching the peak offshore of Volusia County with occasional gusts hitting 35 knots, particularly in the morning. Seas will be running 4 to 6 feet north of Cape Canaveral.

For Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm:
- Today: West winds around 20 knots, calming down to 10 to 15 knots later with seas at 3 to 4 feet. Toss in some showers and thunderstorms for an added surprise.
- Tonight: Southwest winds at 10 to 15 knots, seas at 2 to 3 feet. And hey, keep an eye out for more showers and thunderstorms.
- Tomorrow: Southwest winds continue at 10 to 15 knots, with seas holding steady at 2 to 3 feet. Shower and thunderstorm chances continue all day.

And remember, always keep your guard up for those thunderstorms making waves with higher winds and seas!
