Alright folks, buckle up for your coastal waters forecast for East Central Florida! This report comes straight from the National Weather Service in Melbourne. Get ready for some onshore winds mixing it up with sea breezes as we head into the week ahead.

Today along Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, we're looking at south winds around 5 knots, shifting to the southeast later on. Seas around 2 feet and a chance of showers and thunderstorms rolling in this afternoon.

Tonight, expect those winds to pick up a bit, becoming southwest after midnight. Seas remain around 2 feet with a slight chance of more showers and storms.

As we move into Monday, those south winds persist, becoming southeast in the afternoon, bringing with them a chance of more showers and thunderstorms.

Throughout the week, the wind directions may dance around from southwest to west, so keep an eye out. Don't be surprised if you see some thunderstorms brewing. Remember, always heed caution during thunderstorms as winds and waves can be higher than usual.
