Hey there, folks! Time to dive into your coastal waters forecast for East Central Florida, where the sun and the storms play a game of tag.
Today looks like a mixtape of weather - with west winds shifting to the north later on, bringing along a chance of thunderstorms and showers, especially in the afternoon. Don't forget that umbrella!
As we sail into tonight, those north winds will cozy up to the west after midnight, but be prepared for a potential light show from Mother Nature with some more showers and thunderstorms.
And looking ahead to Friday, those northwest winds will do a little dance to the east in the afternoon, keeping those seas at a comfy 2 feet range. But hey, keep an eye out for thunderstorms and more showers.
By Friday night, expect a mix of southeasterly and southwestern winds with a chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the evening, lingering into the night.
Come the weekend, we're looking at some southwest winds cooling down to the east side on Saturday, eventually turning southeast. And yup, you guessed it - more showers and thunderstorms on the forecast track.
Sunday and Monday bring some easterlies at 5 to 15 miles per hour, with a mix of sun and a chance of those pesky thunderstorms. Be ready for some wet weather!
