Hey there, sea-loving folks! It's time for your Coastal Waters Forecast for East Central Florida from none other than the National Weather Service in Melbourne. Today is June 1st, 2024.

If you're cruising around the Atlantic coastal waters from Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet, we've got the scoop for you!

For Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line within 20 nm:

Today, expect east winds of around 15 knots with seas around 4 feet. It's gonna be a moderate chop on the intracoastal waters, so hold onto your hats! If you're planning for a night sail, winds are shifting to southeast at 10 to 15 knots with seas around 3 to 4 feet.

Sunday brings southeast winds at 10 to 15 knots, maintaining seas at around 3 feet. Keep an umbrella handy as there's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms rolling in.

Heading a bit further out? From the Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet:

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY is in effect until 10 AM this morning, so be cautious out there! East winds will be near 20 knots, easing up to 15 to 20 knots. Seas around 4 to 5 feet could occasionally sneak up to 6 feet.

Tonight, expect east winds at 15 to 20 knots with seas around 3 to 5 feet, possibly reaching up to 6 feet. Keep an eye out for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight!

Remember, winds and waves can get a bit fiesty especially near thunderstorms, so steer clear if you can.
