Alright, folks, let's dive right into your coastal waters forecast for East Central Florida, brought to you by the National Weather Service in Melbourne. Here's what's in store for the waters from Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out 60 nautical miles.

For starters, we've got weak high pressure hanging out over the local Atlantic waters, which means decent boating conditions for the early part of this week. Things look mostly dry today, but don't stash that umbrella just yet because rain chances creep back in tonight into Tuesday as a front weakens over our area.

Now, let's talk wind. Today, expect West winds around 5 knots, shifting to southeast later on. Tonight brings South winds 5 to 10 knots, then shifting back to the West. Tomorrow, it's West winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming East in the afternoon. Wind shifts galore, folks!

On the wave front, seas are looking around 2 feet throughout the next couple of days. A light chop on the intracoastal waters, so it's not quite smooth sailing but nothing too choppy.

As we head towards midweek, keep an eye out for thunderstorm possibilities, with a chance of showers in the mix. And remember, when thunder roars, head indoors!
