Hey there East Central Florida boaters! Get ready for some "rock and roll" out on the waters today. We've got a cold front heading our way, bringing in some scattered to numerous showers and lightning storms. And guess what? Some of these storms might be strong to severe - so batten down the hatches!

For those sailin' closer to the coast, from Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, here's what you can expect:

Today, we're looking at southwest winds at 10 to 15 miles per hour, with seas around 3 feet. A moderate chop on the intracoastal waters, so hold onto your hats. Showers and thunderstorms are likely today, with a chance lingering into the evening and night.

Tonight, winds will shift to the west at 10 to 15 miles per hour, with seas around 2 to 3 feet. A light chop on the waters, but keep an eye out for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.

As we roll into Thursday, expect some west winds at 10 to 15 miles per hour, becoming east in the afternoon. Seas around 2 feet, with a moderate chop on the intracoastal waters.

And don't forget, always be cautious - as winds and waves can be higher in and near those thunderstorms.
