Hey there East Central Florida water lovers, it's time for your coastal waters forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Melbourne. I'm here to give you the lowdown on what to expect out on the big blue this weekend.

So, it looks like we've got some changes coming up! North to northeast winds are on the horizon, thanks to a cold front moving in. Keep an eye out for some storms packing gusty winds, especially south of the Cape. Sunday's looking calmer with high pressure rolling in, but rain chances start creeping back up next week.

If you're hitting the waves near Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet, expect north winds today becoming northeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour in the afternoon. Seas will be around 2 feet with a moderate chop on the intracoastal waters.

Tomorrow, those northeast winds stick around at 5 to 10 miles per hour, transitioning to east in the afternoon. Smooth sailing on the intracoastal waters with 2-foot seas.

And hey, if you want the full scoop on the forecast, be sure to check us out via the link in the show notes. Thank you for listening and make sure to subscribe to never miss an update!
