Good morning, East Central Florida! It's a beautiful Saturday, April 13th, 2024, and I'm here to give you the scoop on the coastal waters from Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet! Let's dive into today's boating forecast.

High pressure over the central Gulf coast is set to build over our area today, crossing central Florida by tomorrow. Expect some Northwest to North winds at 20 miles per hour this morning, then decreasing to 10-15 miles per hour by the afternoon, with seas at 6 to 7 feet. Make sure to take precautions out on the water!

For those cruising from Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, small craft should exercise caution today with North winds at 15 to 20 miles per hour, diminishing to 10-15 miles per hour in the afternoon. Seas will range from 3 to 5 feet with occasional peaks at 6 feet, creating a choppy intracoastal waters environment.

As we look ahead, Sunday brings lighter winds and smoother seas, so get ready to enjoy some boating fun. Southeast winds will take over by Monday, continuing through mid-week.

Remember, safety always comes first on the water, so keep an eye on changing conditions. For more detailed information, check us out at www.quietperiodplease.com.
