Good morning, East Central Florida! It's your friendly neighborhood weather reporter here to bring you the latest on the coastal waters forecast for our beautiful area.
Today, we're looking at high pressure moving off the South Carolina coast, which means northeast winds drifting out into the Atlantic through early this week. So, grab your sunscreen and shades because it's going to be a great day out on the water.
For Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, we've got northeast winds at 5 to 10 knots, seas at 2 to 3 feet, and a light chop on the intracoastal waters. Tonight, expect east winds at 5 to 10 knots with seas around 2 feet, creating mostly smooth conditions on the water.
As we move into Monday, east winds will pick up to 10 to 15 knots with seas at 2 to 3 feet, creating a moderate chop on the intracoastal waters. By Thursday, we may see some poor to hazardous seas and a chance of lightning storms returning, so keep an eye out for any updates as the week progresses.
Remember, whether you're out fishing, boating, or just enjoying the ocean breeze, stay safe and have a fantastic time on the water. And for more detailed information, check us out at www.quietperiodplease.com.
