Hey there East Central Florida boaters, it's time for your coastal waters forecast straight from the National Weather Service in Melbourne. I'm here to make sure you know what to expect out on the water!

First up, for those cruising from Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line within 20 nautical miles, today brings north winds at 10 to 15 knots with seas ranging from 3 to 5 feet, occasional seas up to 6 feet. So keep an eye out this morning as small craft should exercise caution. By tonight, expect northeast winds to shift at 5 to 10 knots and similar sea conditions.

Moving south toward Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet within 20 nautical miles, we're talking about north winds at 15 to 20 knots dropping off to 10 to 15 knots later today. Seas will be higher at 5 to 7 feet with occasional 8-foot waves. It's choppy out there this morning, so hang tight. Into the evening, northeast winds at 5 to 10 knots will bring a bit of relief.

Further offshore, from Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet within 20 to 60 nautical miles, a Small Craft Advisory is in play until tonight. Expect north winds at 15 to 20 knots early, gradually shifting to northeast in the afternoon. Seas will be rough, reaching 6 to 8 feet with occasional 10-foot waves. So, hold on tight out there!
