CRIMINAL PROCEDURE #26 | Is duplicity of charges curable under S422 Criminal Procedure Code ?

S163 of Criminal Procedure Code provides that for every distinct offence of which any person is accused there shall be a separate charge and every such charge shall be tried separately. If there is more than one offence in a charge, is the irregularity curable under S422 Criminal Procedure Code ?
