Dr George Thomas interviews Dr Mike Wilkinson about the role of SAS doctors, how and why doctors might consider this type of role, and the route to the specialist register via CESR.

Dr Wilkinson is an Associate Specialist in Geriatrics and SAS Tutor for Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust. HEE NE & North Cumbria Associate Dean for SAS Doctors & Dentists, and SAS Representative for RCPE Trainees & Members’ Committee.
