Dr Rachel Williamson discusses the assessment and management of patients presenting to the Acute Medical Unit with signs and symptoms of thyroid disease.

Dr Williamson is a consultant endocrinologist at the Borders General Hospital, with an interest in teaching and medical education. She is also Secretary of the Scottish Society of Physicians.
