Then, Nick Carter Master Detective starring Lon Clark, originally broadcast August 15, 1948, 77 years ago,  The Case of the Professional Beggar.  A young boy's life is at stake when he's the witness to a machine-gun murder.

Followed by Counterspy starring Don Maclaughlin and Mandel Kramer, originally broadcast August 15, 1950, 75 years ago , The Case of the Foolish Farmer.  When a gangster marries an exotic dancer, he doesn't take into account her very strange father.
