In this re-broadcast of Civically Speaking's June 11, 2019 episode I sit down with Teacher, Gillian Strange of Saskatoon with guest Saskatoon View panel member, Wendy Cooper. 
Gillian is a teacher in the public school system in Saskatoon, who shares some interesting insights into what life is like as teacher in current times. She shares how issues such as provincial budgets and growing school populations make for some interesting challenges. 
Gillian has had a variety of teaching positions, primarily in the middle years, teaching in community schools and SAGE programs, as well as core French and Immersion. Gillian has worked on public system curricular and special project committees, as well as leading professional development in gender equity and student engagement across the province. Gillian also co-created the “Let’s Lead – Nīkānētān” program from the grassroots up.
