In this rebroadcast of Civically Speaking, that aired on February 4, 2020, David Kirton, well-known broadcaster and talk show host in Saskatoon, joined me.  We get to learn a little more about one of Saskatoon's long standing and well-respected person behind the voice.

David currently hosts Saskatchewan Afternoon with David Kirton on 650 CKOM. We learn about where David grew up, his background in media, and then focus in on some of his observations with respect to local civic issues. David shares perspective about the importance of communications and access to City Hall - and how this is changing - and maybe not always for the best. David shares, as example, trying to navigate an advertisement for an open house around proposed changes traffic-wise on the west side of Saskatoon and what this ended up being about. And, for those listening in, the road we were trying to recall was Clancy Drive.
