In this episode of Civically Speaking, guest, Jeff Jackson and I break down one of our world's most defining moment of this century with the outbreak of pandemic 2019-novel-coronavirus (COVID-19). Thanks Jeff for joining me virtually from our respective homes.

1n 1918 we had the Spanish Flu, see wiki-link at end for a quick overview. In 2020, we face a pandemic known as COVID-19.

Due to recent precautionary measures being taken at CFCR.ca HQ, we were not able to be in studio live today. Or, to have this episode completed in time to upload it to air during its regular time.

Next week, CFCR.ca, will be working with us hosts, who are able and willing, to upload pre-recorded shows sent in a day early. Thanks to the core team at CFCR for handling the dials for all us hosts. May also be uploading bonus material to podcast in between so stay tuned.

During this pandemic, be safe, follow the necessary precautions, be a do-good family member, friend, and neighbour. And, do your best to support local businesses, community-based efforts, and local media, like CFCR.ca.

Virtual hugs, hand shakes, foot taps, and fist and elbow bumps.
- Civically speaking, Lenore.
