Hello Civically Speaking Listeners,

Thanks for tuning in to this podcast version of Civically Speaking aired on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm on CFCR 90.5 FM in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

This is an inaugural one hour version of Civically Speaking, together with Co-host, Christina Chernesky. Going forward we will be bringing an hour of fun-filled civic issues of all shapes, sizes and more. We can't wait. 

As our first guest we are honoured to have Phil Tank, a journalist with the Saskatoon StarPhoenix.  

In this Part 1 episode, we dive into a number of municipal issues.... downtown grocery store; the shift of our waste from a property tax item to a utility; the recent move of an emergency homelessness shelter from the downtown to a west side suburban neighbourhood; and, much more more.
