Dear Listeners,

A continuing national tragedy of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2 Spirited people (MMIWG2S+).

An honour to have Community Advocates Darlene Okemaysim-Sicotte and Myrna LaPlante together with ally (and colleague) Samantha Mark in the virtual studio to discuss this important issue.

This will be the first of a continuing and important discussion - with the goal of, as Myrna shared, to educate people so they can learn about what is going on and what can be done to help and be an ally and support to families.

As discussed during the show please find below links to the Calls for Justice, and an update report on efforts underway.
