This week, we finished our sermon series in Esther with Esther 9:20-10:3. Co-lead pastor Alex Leyva asked the question: What does God say is the most important thing for us to remember? In these verses, we see Mordecai recount the Jewish victory in Persia and orders the Jewish people to celebrate Purim in memory. The Jewish people then commit themselves to remembering.
Praise God! We have even more reason to remember: we have reason for joy in remembering God's deliverance from our sin through Jesus! What does it look like for you to remember God daily? When we forget what God has done, we begin to doubt his character. Instead, build daily rhythms in your life—through journaling, prayer, reading Scripture, community—for remembering God's deliverance.
