At some level we all want to be the lone wolf, to prove ourselves as individuals. That’s not all bad. But it’s not all good either.

This week we will discuss the relationship between musical groups and their members who go solo, and what that has to do with the church; the ethos of Jack Reacher (who does not resemble Tom Cruise in the slightest); how an Englishwoman is changing the way I think about trumpeters; and why I continue to let a terrific solo game languish on the shelf.
