EP135: Another Small Town Death

The small town where I grew up, the school that I attended and the place where I spent years coaching, has had to deal with a lot of loss.

For me, it is the loss of peers. The loss of a few friends. The loss of my brother. And now, the loss continues in the lives of athletes I once coached. I believe that everyone can find redemption in their life if given enough time.

Unfortunately for some, their time ran out before finding it.

If you are in a mental funk or struggling with addiction, find a support system that has your back. Confide in them your struggles. Strive to make the right decisions. Emulate those who have accomplished what you set out to do. And lastly, don’t ever give up on the idea of being better!
