As moms, we often feel overwhelmed by the constant pressure to be perfect, both within ourselves and from society. In this week's episode with Michelle Coels from One Tough Mama Fitness and The Lift Society in Calgary, AB, we share how putting yourself first isn't selfish; it's non-fucking-negotiable in motherhood.

Trusting your instincts and making choices can be challenging, especially juggling all the mom-life balls (some glass and some plastic, some big and some small); knowing which ones to prioritize (and not drop) can be tricky. Despite the toxic guilt and shame, we must create time to care for the human we are.

Ah Ha Moments:
- When you take the time to reflect on what is important to you (and not important to you), you have more mental clarity
- We've been conditioned (as women) to believe that choosing anything other than caregiving (kids or partner or house) is the wrong choice
- You already know what you need! (You really do)
