Ep 17. They/Them (2022) CHERRY-PIE with Dylan

CHERRY-PIE, neither myself nor my guest had seen this movie before the podcast.

It's time to be 'woke' everyone.

Dylan and I sit together with They/Them (2022). Is this the step forward for the LGBT+ commuity that we've been waiting for?

A group of young adults is dropped off at a conversion camp under the pretence of 'curing' them of their homosexuality or gender 'abnormalities'. As time progresses they start to notice more and more oddities with the staff that hint that this summer camp is far darker than expected - not only that but a masked figure seems to be stalking the camp grounds with unknown motives.

Boys, it's time to man up, grab a gun and be the killer they're looking for, while girls head to the kitchen to make pie 'cause there's no greater joy than learning your place in society... (it saddens me to even joke like this)...

As we tackle this critique of a movie.
