Jan Tamble is a leader of the Orange County, California, chapter of Umbrella Ministries, whose purpose is reaching out to the hurts and hearts of mothers who have experienced the loss of a child.
 
Jan shares her story of losing her daughter, Megan, twelve years ago. Along with sharing her grief journey, she discusses the things that people do that hurt and help. When they don't understand how to respond to a person's grief, they do things that cause pain, even though their intentions are to help.
